Hudson Inclusive Playground Project

Learn more about the progress of The Hudson Inclusive Playground on Middleton Rd. from two local residents (Christine Callahan and Megan Higgins) who have been instrumental in its founding.   They will give us a progress report and explain what is needed to bring this park to completion.  This will be the first play space in Summit County to fully incorporate  the 7 Principles of Inclusive Playground Design:

Be fair: Create equitable opportunities for all ages and abilities;  Be included: Provide access flexibility;  Be smart: Design should be simple and intuitive;  Be independent: Encourage individual exploration;  Be safe: Ensure safety standards and comfort;  Be active: Accommodate diverse needs; Be comfortable: Provide space for movement and gathering
