The Trials Leading to a Successful Coronavirus Vaccine

Dr. Genevieve Aguolu, MBBS, PHD, Phd and spouse of our own Chuck Nnabuife.  Genevieve is in her second year of a post doctoral program with the Infectious Disease Internal Medicine Department of Yale School of Medicine, Yale University.  Her program adviser is Dr Saad B Omer, a vaccinologist and infectious disease epidemiologist and the inaugural director of the Yale Institute for Global Health.  You may have seen him recently on CNN.  Genevieve will be speaking about the creation of the Covid Vaccine and the safety precautions and procedures needed for broad scale implementation and distribution.  She will also share some of her current research into the monitoring of the spread of Covid within the Yale Health Systen.  She’s been working from home since the spring but reveals that she is busier than ever.  Thank goodness for the internet
