Wednesday, June 7th, we will be continuing our year of Imagine-Rotary.   David Basil will introduce our June theme of Community Safety.

In August, 2018,  a 24-year veteran with the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department was chosen to be the new leader of Hudson’s police force.  Chief Perry Tabak had served as captain/special operations commander and SWAT commander for the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department since 2015 and had worked for the department for 24 years.  In his role as our Police Chief, he oversees 32 full-time officers, 7 full-time dispatchers, 3 part-time dispatchers, 3 auxiliary officers and 2 civilian personnel.
The Hudson Police Department (HPD) is dedicated to safeguarding the lives and property of the people we serve, to reducing the incidents and fear of crime, and to enhancing public safety while working with the community to ensure a high quality of life in our city. The department is committed to providing a superior level of service with honor and integrity, while at all times conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards.

Please consider helping us clean up the pool area at Camp Manitoc this Saturday, June 10 from 8:15-11:30 am.  Many hands make for light work and we'll feed you!

The Club Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday June 14 immediately following the general session.  All active club members are invited to attend.  New Board Members for year 2023-2024 are encouraged to attend.

Past Meetings

Sharon Graper, the Director of Education at Holden Forests and Gardens, spoke with us remotely about all the fun stuff now happening.  Sean Kenney has created 14 large installations at the Holden Arboretum which are sure to delight young and old. The new exhibit brings some of nature’s most beloved flora and fauna to colorful life wit sculptures built with over 350,000 simple toy blocks.  The Holden is also hosting outdoor concerts this year with acts as diverse as Apollo's Fire to Roots of American Music--complete with Food Trucks.  At the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, look for Birdhouse installations and Live Music.  Lovely places to take those out-of-town guests.

Thanks to all who participated in the Memorial Day Parade.  You made our Club Proud.   What other club has a vintage Pick-up to honor Scholarship Winners? What other club has such a "cool" President?
Or Past Presidents like Tom Tobin and Patrick Scherer?
