On May 17th, Jan Steer (in the white jacket) gave us an update on what's new to Blossom in 2023, She is seen above with Jim Lang and Mark Litzler, Director of Institutional Giving for the Cleveland Orchestra. We had a lively Q&A. Who knew that a certain Rotarian's first job involved parking at Blossom?

On May 24th we awarded Six College Scholarships and One Vocational Scholarship to deserving Hudson High School Seniors and honored Dan Williams by naming the 202 scholarships in his memory. We were joined by Laurie Williams who truly understands how important this project was for Dan. He was a member of the Scholarship Selection Committee for many, mahy years and olften was the chair. His notes and records were meticuloous and he led with passion and professionalism (as only a College Professor could).
Each Student introduced an influential Teacher--this is an opportunity to reinforce just how important these teachers are in their guidance and mentoring of our youth. This is a highlight of our May schedule.

...Donations this month will be made to Hopewell, a therapeutic farm community located in Chagrin Falls. It treats people with bipolar disease and other type of mental challenges. They would like some activity items such as Bamboozled Board Game, a Drafting Easle and a Spikeboard Set. Combining our cash might be the best way to accomplish our goal.
