Candidates for State Representative for 34th District Debate

Adam Bozic and Derrick Hall will address our members and guests regarding their candidacies to represent the 34th district in the Ohio House of Representatives.  

Adam Bozic, is a father and husband. A native of Bedford, OH, he served in the Marine Corps from 2002-2007.  He earned a BS (Sports Studies) and MS degree (Sports Science/Coaching) from the University of Akron i 2010 and 2012 respectively. He is a small business owner,  and previously served as the Director of Operations for the International Soap Box Derby and as Tallmadge Assistant Parks & Recreation Superintendent.  He is a Current Tallmadge Councilman and serves as President of Council.  He lives with his family in Tallmadge and continues to volunteer as a coach soccer. 

When Akron native Derrick Hall was 13, his single. mother finished her teaching degree and became a full time teacher. Their lives improved dramatically: better housing, more food security, and less stress. He realized at that time how education could transform a person’s life. He graduated from North High School and went on to attend the University of Akron, The Ohio State University, and Harvard University.  He serves as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer in the United States Army Reserve. In civilian life, he works in healthcare utilizing his MBA, law, and pharmacy degrees. He llives with his wife and two young daughters in west Akron.  He serves on various boards and is currently serving as the President of the Akron Public School Board.
