Hudson City Council Ward 2 Candidate Debate
City Council President Chris Foster is completing his first term as councilman for Ward 2. Mr. Foster is a native of Hudson and an Eagle Scout affiliated with Troop 321. He is a small business owner (GIE Media), law school student (St. Louis University School of Law), active with the Hudson-Landsberg Sister City organization and still finds time to run marathons and tend to the bees and animals populating his small farm. He is married to Lisa and the father of three grown children who all attended Hudson City Schools. Mr. Foster is a member of the Rotary Club of Hudson.
Madeline Lepidi-Carino was born in Greensburg, PA. to Italian Immigrant parents who overcame poverty and discrimnination to start a successful business. She was the first to complete college and her early work involved Social Work. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education—University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Degree in Social Science Administration (MSSA)—Case Western Reserve University. She later obtained a Juris Doctorate—Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and waas admtted to practice law iin Ohio in 2003 spcializing in Juvenile and Family Law. She practiced as an Assistant Prosecutor, Defense Attorney, and Guardian ad Litem and is certified as a mediator in Basic, Domestic, Elder, and Child Protection Mediation with the Supreme Court of Ohio. Ms. Lepidi-Carino was President of the Laurel Lake Resident Association from 2022-2023 and is a member of the Rotary Club of Hudson.
