Hudson City Council Ward 1 Candidate Debate

Patricia Goetz, M.D. is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist, who graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she was one of just 9 women in a class of 130.
Her paramount goal in running for the Hudson City Council is to make government work for children and families in our community. She has devoted her professional life to helping children, families, and adults solve difficult problems involving many systems: from schools and courts, to county and state governments. This work, combined with experience as a wife, mother, and grandmother, places her in a unique position to understand the needs of the residents of Hudson.

Todd Zedak was born and grew up in Hudson. He is a member of the HHS Class of 81. He has raised his kids here. He currently lives in Hudson Common and enjoy skiing, golf, rabble rousing and riding his motorcycle.
Mr. Zedak was a founder of Hudson OH Helps which grew out of the Covid pandemic. We had an unprecedented situation where otherwise able bodied and financially sound neighbors were locked into their homes. Todd solicited for volunteers who were willing and able (not part of a high risk group) to run these errands or perform these chores. Once he had played matchmaker, and introduced folks who literally lived next door with opportunities to help their neighbors.... It was kind of magical.
