The Rotary Club of Hudson's January speaker program features local business leaders.
 
  • Jan 3rd - Nicole Alverson, President of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce will cover the Chamber’s functions, its achievements over the past year and plans for 2018.
 
  • Jan 10th - Jan Gusich, Founder and CEO of Akhia, who will relate the history and growth of Akhia as well as how Akhia provides consultation to clients in a PR crisis.
 
  • Jan 17th - Drew Forhan, Founder and CEO of ForTec Medical, will relate what his company does, its growth and move to Hudson as well as his thoughts on giving back corporately and personally.
 
  • Jan 24th - Mike Shearer, General Manager of Record Publishing, who will speak about the Hub-Times’ community service, the MyTownNEO.com website and the publisher’s digital strategy going forward.
 
  • Jan 31 st - Jim Stiffler, Hudson’s Director of Economic Development, will discuss Hudson’s designation as a Smart 21 Community and the ways it has impacted our community image. He will also reveal his economic development outlook for the coming years.
 
February meetings will focus on food production and public health.
